Niantic Announced The Coming of New Pokemon On 12th of December

Just in! Niantic confirmed on their social media account the coming of new Pokemon on December 12. The announcement is still unclear if the new Pokemon they are referring are the Generation 2 or the legendary Pokemon. But looking at the announcement, its likely the Generation 2 Pokemon.

In addition with the announcement, Niantic also confirmed the collaboration with Sprint to give players a special Pokemon GO experience to over 10,500 Sprint location around United States. According to Niantic:

As part of this collaboration, Sprint, Boost Mobile and Sprint at Radioshack stores will become PokéStops and Gyms, giving you even more places to stock up on Poké Balls and Razz Berries and to battle your friends. Sprint locations will also feature in-store charging stations to keep your Pokémon GO sessions going even longer. Sprint also brings a great network and an unlimited data plan to support your search for Pokémon no matter where they are hiding.

Sprint and Niantic will hold a press conference and will talk about the future of Pokemon GO and Sprint. This partnership led to conversion of more Pokestop over 10,500 locations around the US.

December 8: Starbucks branches will be converted in Pokestop or Gyms

The rumors are true. Similar to Sprint, Starbucks branches around the US will be converted into Pokestop or Gyms. Players will get a chance to order a special beverage exclusive for Pokemon GO players.

December 12: The coming of new Pokemon
