Update: Pokemon GO Speed Limit

One of the issues that were being complained before and even up to now is the implementation of the speed limit in Pokemon GO. For those who don’t know yet, speed limit doesn’t exist before when Pokemon GO was released but due to some abuse, Niantic implemented it to the system.
Since the speed limit has been applied, hatching an egg and spinning a Pokestop is quite difficult especially if you’re riding a moving vehicle. We hear no words from Niantic for the exact speed limit, but because of the response and tests of the Pokemon Go community, it is said that the speed limit is 10.5 kilometers per hour.

Speed Limit Has Increased After The Update?
With the release of the nearby tracking, it looks like the speed limit has also been changed. There are reports from many Pokemon GO players who have successfully spun a Pokestop from a moving vehicle without getting a “Try again” notice from the app. The reports are supported by some players who have a similar experience.

Nearby Tracker Also Receives an Update
Pokemon GO players may not notice this, but the new nearby tracker also receives another server-side update. The update dramatically changed the tracking system of the game. From now on, if a player is too far from a Pokestop, instead of getting the nearby tracker, the player will now get the old and improved sightings feature. Aside from that, the improved sightings tracker also increased its Pokemon tracking range.
Primarily, the tracking update does not really affect the game because players still need to roam around to find and catch that spawn.
